Compassion Associates is a patient-based, non-profit organization that was formed to help patients, their families and loved ones understand their rights and obtain medical marijuana as authorized by the New Jersey Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act ("CUMMA") - and other state's laws that provide for patients' legal use of medical marijuana. Our group will help educate the public about the status of medical-marijuana laws and pending legislation; we will inform and help "qualified" patients to obtain their Medical Marijuana Registry Identification Cards and to register with Medical Marijuana AlternativeTreatment Centers; and, through charity events and donations to our Low Income Medical Marijuana Assistance (LIMMA) program, we will help all qualified patients across the nation, including low-income and elderly individuals, gain access to medical marijuana and related items, such as primary-caregiver / nursing services and medical-marijuana accessories.

Our organization's slogan is "People Helping People Feel Better" because we believe that every person is fundamentally entitled to personal happiness and comfort, and that the best way to help achieve this for all of us is to join together as a Community to support and provide compassion, comfort and dignity to those patients in need.
